John France, Founder of Langports, visited Blue Dragon in Hanoi, Vietnam and has partnered with them to launch, SAYL - Study A Year at Langports for students who have completed their studies with Blue Dragon.
2022 The Langports Foundation provided a one year scholarship to Monika, a young lady from a poor family in Mozambique. One of our Friends of the Foundation, WEST 1 sponsored her living expenses.
The Langports Foundation provides funds for scholarships for Indigenous children to attend private Australian high schools.
This scholarship includes a place at one of Australia’s top boarding schools for five years.
Blue Dragon Program
Langports has supported the Blue Dragon Children's Foundation in Hanoi, Vietnam by sponsoring the education of 10 children and a teacher.
Through friends of our students TLF funded a Christmas party for 30 children from an orphanage in Bogota. All children received presents and enjoyed fun party food and games.
In 2014 The Langports Foundation paid the salary of 8 part-time teachers for a private country school in Cambodia which was being run by the mother of one of our teachers.
In 2009 and 2012 Fiji experienced severe flooding and many schools were badly effected, loosing both buildings and resourses.
The Langports Foundation were able to help by donating books for the classroom and libraries.
2008 – The Langports Foundation funded the development of indigenous Early Learning books for Yiparinya School, Alice Springs.
